Wiss Bang Pop

Things you will need

Vinegar

Baking soda

Funnel or paper

Recycled bottle

Balloon or a ziplock bag

            1. Pour three quarters of a cup of vinegar into a bottle the smaller the better

2. With the funnel pour the baking soda into the balloon  until the balloon is full.
3. Carefully put the bottom of the balloon on the top of the bottle but make it so none of the baking soda goes into the bottle.

4. Gently tip the balloon over and it should come out with a reaction like this .
Today I was leaning about what happens when you mix vinegar with baking soda.
I enjoyed when it blew up because i thought it would explode.
I found it tricky to try it again with the same balloon because the balloon ripped.

  1. Kia Ora Stella,
Wow you are an exceptional learner that has sped ahead into todays learning tasks and executed it so well! Did you find it hard to find the resources to create this experiment?

I just couldn't wait to do the science experiment. we only had a little bit of baking soda we had no balloons. But luckily my dad was going to the dairy and he got some balloons for me.
